From Barn Boots to Business Owner

Hi, I’m Annie!

—founder of Heart of the West Animal Care. I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember, and now I’m turning that lifelong passion into my full-time business.

I was born and raised in Northwestern Wyoming, where animals are part of everyday life. I grew up in 4H, raising goats, learning responsibility, and showing up early (and often muddy) to feed, clean, and care for them. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience with everything from horses and alpacas to dogs, cats, rabbits, and more. I’ve been the go-to sitter for families in our area for years—trusted to care for their animals like they were my own.

Built on grit, guided by heart.

But this business isn’t just about animals—it’s about building something of my own. I was raised by entrepreneurs, and I’ve seen firsthand what it takes to run a business with integrity, grit, and heart. I’ve always known I wanted to create something that mattered, and now that I’ve graduated high school, I’m all in. Heart of the West Animal Care is my first big step toward that dream.

Your animals. Her heart. One promise.

I’m fully insured, deeply experienced, and committed to providing in-home care that gives both animals and their owners peace of mind. Whether it’s feeding, exercising, medicating, playing, or staying overnight, I’m here to make sure your animals are safe, happy, and cared for—right where they’re most comfortable: at home.

This isn’t just a job to me—it’s my calling. And I’m so excited to serve families across our Wyoming community with the kind of care that’s personal, reliable, and rooted in love.
